The company began as an Information Technology company and Internet solutions provider. It was built on the belief that as the Internet evolved, it would provide a unique opportunity to position companies of all sizes as equals.
Mr. Birgir V. Halldórsson, Founder and Chairman of DesignEuropA, sought to build a progressive and innovative company that would provide small and medium sized enterprises with sound advice, creative design and affordable technology solutions that delivered real business benefits. Mr. Halldórsson is an internationally recognized entrepreneur. His successes include joint ventures between Iceland and other countries, restaurants, hotels, manufacturing companies, and gyms. Most recently, he has begun marketing sports drinks and Icelandic mineral water. DesignEuropA benefits from his extensive knowledge and experience in the area of Internet marketing and online business strategies.
Mr. Halldórsson is a former Icelandic champion in soccer, rally and rally cross.
